Favorite SGGL Song: girl with the red dress on
Became a fan:Went to the Mineshaft every Tuesday while I was in med school. Sonja Jahrsdorfer and I were always there and even went to Richmond and DC to hear them.
Comments:I'm amazed that they are still playing together - last thing I knew Mike was in law school and I saw Rusty was playing at a bar in VA Beach. I think it is wonderful that they are still playing and recording. I have the LP they released in C'ville from a performance on the grounds. There was a song Rusty sang one time - said it wasn't finished - about "all the love I need, here in this picture that you gave to me..." I always wondered if he finished it or recorded it. Actually, that song is how I came across this site. This is great!

Favorite SGGL Song: What about the kids
Favorite SGGL Album: Headin South
Became a fan:I first heard the album in 1995 while on a deployment with the Air Force to Saudi Arabia. At the time I was a KC-10 pilot supporting operation Southern Watch. Absolutely blown away by the music. Had a cassette copy of the CD which I wore out. Have been desperate to track down a way to get my own CDs. Can't wait to order!

Favorite SGGL Song: Brown eyed girl
Became a fan:I enjoyed concerts on grounds c.1985. I liked when they sang about being with the brown eyed girl behind Scott Stadium. The audience tended to be packed with co-ed fans.
Comments:I hope to buy a CD for my brown eyed wife.
